THE BABY SHOW.
[To Thk Editor.]
Sir, The greatest dissatisfaction preavils with regard to the Baby Show in the recent Floral Fete. It is freely stated that certain, persons interested canvassed the visitors for their votes, the result being that instead of open and fair competition the prize was awarded not upon merit but upon the thoughtlessly registered votes of a canvassed public. I am -not a disappointed baby owner, but one who likes fair play and has a w 7 holesome disgust for underhand work.—l am, &c.,
