PUNISHING VILLAGERS
200 NATIVES' HANDS CHOPPED OFF.

An offical of the West Congo Free State, West Africa, has reported that the Batallas tribesmen, who were employed to gather rubber, destroyed 20 vilages and chopped the hands off 200 villagers because the latter did riot supply sufficient rubber.
