Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows For Napier, daily, at 7.30 9.30, noon, 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. For South, 7.30 and 10.30, a.m., 3 and 5 p.m. For Wellington, daily, at 10.30 a.m. For Auckland (overland) Mondays and Thursdays, at 3.15 p.m. For Northern ports, Australian Colonies and Continent of Europe, via Brindisi, Friday, November sth, 5 p.m.

Tuesday the 9th iiist. will be observed as a close holiday by the Postal branch at tins office, and mails which would otherwise close on that «la,v will be closed on Monday the Bth, at 8 p.m. The office will open, for telegraphic purposes only, from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. S.
