Mails close fur the under-mentioned places as follow* : —- For Napier, daily, at 7.8G 'J.iJO, noon, 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. For South, 7.550 ami 10.'JO, a.m.. o and 5 p.m. For "Wellington, daily, at 10.80 a.m. For Auckland {overland) Mondays and Thursdays, at, JS.lo p.m. For Northern ports, Australian Colonies and Continent, of F.uropo, via Brindisi, Friday, November oih, 5 p.m. Peixck of Wales' Birthday. Tuesday tn<: Uih inst. will be observed as a close holiday by the Postal branch at tins office, and mails which would otherwise close on that day will be closed on Monday the Bth, at 8 p.m. The office will open, for telegraphic purposes only, from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. S.
