RESISTANCE TO THE BRITISH MOVEMENT.

(Per Press Association. — ('»}>/,riyht.) Calcutta, Nov. 3. The tribesmen are resisting the forward movement of the British troops. They attacked the baggage guard at close quarters and harassed the pickets. Four men belonging to the Queen's Regiment were killed while defending the baggage, which was looted. The mosque where the original attack cn the British at the outbreak of the rebellion was planned proves to be a mud roofed block house.
