RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. [By Telegkaph.] (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, This clay. At Riccarton this morning St. Paul brushed over the last three furlongs of two circuits. Oma and Montacue did a useful mile. Culverin and Goldleaf galloped six furlongs in lmin 22secs and Weary put in a strong mile on the plough. Haria finished well in front of Day Star, assisted by Acone in the last part of a mile and a half on the grass, covered in 2mm 51 8-sth sees. Both horses in shoes and having light weight up. Waiuku did a good working gallop over the same distance with General Wolfe in 2min 38secs. Lord Rosslyn and Fulmen went a strong mile. Bloomer and Bizare ran a mile and g,-quarter. The Sincerity colt and La Riene spurted four furlongs in 53sec§ on the grass. Skirmisher and Wedlock after cantering a circuit rolled half-a-mile off in olsecs. Chaos beat Monte Carlo over a mile and a-quartci'. Leda was ociy waksd and Stratbbraan trotted.
