LED ON BY A MAD PRIEST. (Per Press Association. —('opyriyht.) Mandalay, Oct. 18. The Burmans who recently rushed one of the gates of the British cantonment have confessed that their object in making the attack was to eject the British. A priest, who acted as leader, endeavored to induce his band to believe that he was endowed with invisible power and was invulnerable. Many Burmans have been arrested. Those connected with the plot include manv officials.
