Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between north and west southwest at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth and southward of Port Chalmers and Queenstown. and between north-west and north and west at all other places. Barometer fall everywhere. Northerly gales are to be expected soon at all places south from Napier and New Plymouth to Port Chalmers and Queenstown, and westerly gales from thence southward.
