On 4th and sth October special race tickets to Hastings Racecourse, available for return on day of issue only, will be issued at Napier, Awatoto, and Farndon. Fares (including admission to Racecourse) —First class 4s, second class, 3s. These tickets are not available by express trains. On 4th and sth October, 1897, the trains usually leaving Napier for Hastings at 9.15 a.m. and 3 p.m., and the train usually leaving Hastings for Napier at 1.35 p.m. will not run. Special trains will leave Napier for Racecourse at 10.Go a.m. and 11.14 a.m., and will leave Racecourse for Napier at 5.45 p.m. The train usually leaving Hastings for Napier at 4 p.m. will leave at 3.30 p.m., and the train usually leaving Napier for Hastings at 0 p.m., will leave at 6.15 p.m. For fuller particulars, and for train arrangements between Spit and Napier, also for cheap fares from other stations, see previous advertisement, posters aud handbills, or enqub e at stations.
