SPORTING NEWS.

MISCELLANEOUS PaRS. By Laxcer. Strowan is an unlikely starter at the Spring Meeting. Mr R. Barley will ride Brennan in the Corinthian and Mr Wynn \\ illiams will be up on Heavenly Twin. Acone, Haria, Day Star and Miss Emmy arrived this morning, and are located in Gooseman's stable. They are all looking well. Day Star looks bright and frolicsome, and has every appearance of a return to form. That the local trainers have been very unfortunate in getting unsuftieient work on the track is amply proved by the appearance of the visiting horses. Some of the local nags look like cart horses alongside Multiform, Haria and Miss Emmy.
