FURTHER DETAILS. A NEW IRELANDER THE CULPRIT. f Per Press Association. — Cojtt/rii/ht. / Sydney, Sept. 15. The representatives of a German New Guinea company of which Herr Van Hagen was director-general has received details of the latter's murder, committed by a New Ireland trooper engaged by the German authorities on August 25th. The same trooper had previously made himself notorious by murelering Herr Ellers (a distinguished explorer anel personal friend of the German emperor) and his lieutenant, in whose bodvguari the trooper was included, upon an exploring expedition in the interior of New Guinea. The trooper was arrested for the murder cf Eilcrs, but escaped, and while being pursued shot Hagen.
