Volunteer Uniform.

(Per Press Association.) Well ingtox, This day. The Cabinet has decided to allow it io be optional with Volunteer corps whether they retain the present uniform or adopt tbe kharkee dress. There is much discontent at the prospect of having to adopt uniforms, and as the Premier found that in England they have what is known as a drt;co service uniform varying in different companies the Government has decided to amend the regulations accordingly.
