The Ilawkesbury Handicap run at Sydney on Saturday was won by Part-he-nopteus, The Captain second and Metford third. Twenty started. Won by half a length. Levanter has won £1669 in stakes up to date. Benedict, by The Assyrian Bonny, heads the list of winners in Tasmania with He only started four times, and won twice. The Peer, who started 22 times, winning eight, was fourth on the list.
