Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between north and east and south-east at all places northward of Lyttelton and Hokitika and between north-east and north and west at all other places. Barometer farther fall everywhere. Easterly gales and rain are to be expected at all places northward of Blenheim and Nelson and on the Eastern Coast of the South Island northward of Lyttelton ; and frost in mort parts of the South Island.
