The y.R.r. paid .£'542 out of the Distressed Jockeys' Fund last season. The slu4:ce horse, Petronel, diod in England/on July 3. Tirailierk; mid Freda are to be mated with St Leger. Neither Frailty nor Onyx are in foal this season. Miss Emmy, the 11.8. Guineas' candidate, is doing well in her work at Auckland. Anita, winner of the Auckland Cup, is again in training. Cast Ashore has been sold at Auckland for £3OO. Jenkins has been engaged to ride Blarney in the N.Z. Cup. Missfire would have paid £4O if he had won the G.N. Hurdles.
