Death of a Well-known Cricketer.
[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, This day. Mr E. Barnes, the well-known cricketer, was found in a dying condition on the South belt near the railway station this morning, and died at the hospital a quarter of an JUpjU' after arrival. He bad been in failing health for some months past.
