The American Government ha 3 a warning with regard Klondike goldrie'd, stating that most grave and violent storms had destroyed the trails of the j.ns-'-s over the mountains, and also points out the increased dangers of the rapids. A body of 5000 prospectors have arrived at Seagawley, Lake Taniais, and no relief can be possibly given them during the forthcoming winter. Notwithstanding their warning crowded vessels continue to sail daily for Canada from the ports of .the United States. Ottawa, August 11. Six thousand miners and others are assembled at the entrance to the Yukon Pass, but at least half this number will be unable to cross before the winter sets in.
