Visitors are pouring in from all parts of the country, and everything points to a very large attendance at Riccarton. The following should run well forward: Hunters Hurdles Puketoi; Maiden «Hurdles Quiltiri; G.N. Steeplechase— Dummy, Mutiny, Kingswood; Tally-ho Plate Dunraven ; Bracelet Capon Rouge ; Enfield Steeplechase—Violence ; 'Winter Handicap—Vandyke ; Hunt Club Bracelet —Warrior. RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, This day. Most of the horses have done their winding up gallops. Mutiny's task was to finish fast over the last three furlongs of two steady rounds. Morag went twice round slow. Golden Plover was sent a strong halfmile at the end of a circuit. Highlander went two rounds, the first strongly. Gillie put in a round steady, finishing the next solidly. Jewel did a strong six furlongs. Nat, Dentist, Kingswood, and Levanter put in steady work. Dummy put in one round steady and the second fast in company with Muscatel. Tally-ho traversed a mile and a-quarter at three-quarter pace. Ulster jumped the big fences carefully. Social Pest, after going two rounds at a strong half-pace, finished up briskly. Monte Carlo beat Dun Joseph over a mile. Bradshaw accomplished a round slow and another fast. Dromedary, moving freely, put in two even pace circuits. Umslopogaas led Violence at the end of a round on the plough, both galloping well. Voltigeur jumped six flights of hurdles nicely and then put in a round on the cinder track. Flirt, who is sore, and Perform eash did half pace work. Mutiny and Golden Plover are favorites for the two Nationals*
