Langdale. the Australian-bred Otaki hack, has gone wrong owing to careless shoeing on the part of a smith. Nestor is doing well in his jumping work at Ellerslie and is a probable starter for the G.N. Hurdles. Matarawa. a N.Z. Cup candidate, is a spendidl v shaped and boned animal, and is a half-brother to Sedgebrook by Cap-a-pie. St Simon has been nominated for the Britannia Steeplechase and Hurdle Race. Vaiutas, Ante, and Messmate are under orders for India. Erl Queen, by Tranter out of a sister to Cremome. engaged in the Melbourne and Cauitiekl Cups, will be trained by Walter Hickenbotham.
