Championship Poultry Show.

(By Telegraph.) (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This day. For the Poultry Show the Gisborne exhibits arrived this morning and were staged. In Orpingtons, any color cock, Thomas Weeks was awarded a 2nd prize ; any color hen, W r eeks 1, 2, and 3 ; and in any color cockerel all the prizes ; any color pullet W T eeks 1 and 3. In Langshans T. C. Dawson (Gisborne) was awarded gold champion medal. Ducks Thos. Sheuring 1 and champion ; Pekin drake, Laney (Wellington) 1; Holland (Wellington) 2 ; King (Wellington) 3. Pekin duck, Holland (Wellington) 1 and special ; King, 2; Laney, 3. Pekin under twelve months—drake, Laney (Wellington) 1 ; duck, King (Carterton) 2, Laney 3. Indian Runner drake and duck, Weeks (Gisborne) 1 and 2 ; any other variety under 12 months, drake, W r eeks, 1, 2 and 3 and champion medal; duck, Weeks, 2 and 3. Pigeon champion medals were awarded to the following:—Tumblers, long-faced cock, baldhead, Wm. Fraser (Cnristchurch) ; Jacobin, E. B. Briston (Wellington) ; turbet, do. Gold medal for best Idler pigeon, W. Fraser (Christchurch); silver medal for pigeon wearing the New Zealand fancier ring, J. Walker. The committee's silvercup for the best pigeon in the show, E. B. Briston (Wellington) by the aid of a black magpie. Langshan pullets, Williams (I)unedin) Ist, and in Scotch Greys cockerel Ist and 2nd, and in pullets Ist and 2nd. W 7 yandottes, silver-eared pullet, Hock (Christchurch) Ist. Bantams, black-breasted red game hen, Walker Ist; do. cockerel, Walker Ist and silver medal ; silver cockerel, John Casey (Wellington) Ist.
