CAVILL WINS TIIE HALF-MILE ANOTHER SYDNEY MAN TO THE FRONT. ( Per Press Association.—Copyright.) London, July 5. Percy Cavill, of Sydney, won the half mile amateur swimming championship of England in 16min. 26sec. Stratton, of Christchurch, New Zealand also competed, but finished badly. Jack Ileddings, of Sydney, won the hundred yards championship, defeating seven others easily in 70sec.
