The Committee o£ Inquiry appointed by the House of Commons to inquire into the circumstances of the incursion by an armed force under Dr -Jameson, into the Transvaal, have decided to recall Miss Flora Shaw, of the Times staff, who was in South Africa shortly before the raid. - Remarkable stories are current about the nature of the lady's private messages to ilr Cecil Rhodes, it being alleged that they involve the Right Hon. J. Chamberlain, Secretary ot State for the Colonies.
