EUROPEAN AND FOREIGN. f Per Prt-tx Awriation. —, London, June 28. Sir Montague Nelson and many bankers and shipowners approve Mr E. T. Hooley's scheme to form an Australian frozen meat combination. Dr Jameson has sailed for Cape Town. June 29. The following ships loaded by the New Zealand Shipping Company arrived in London in time for the coming wool sales on July 0 :—Lochnagar, Waitangi, Chilepa, Silverstream, Regent, Lettreine, Mandalay, Murray. Norman McLeod, Phyllis, West Glen, Chili, Turakina, and Rangitikei. Berlin, June 29. At a dinner given by the Emperor on board the Imperial yacht Ilohenzollern at Kiel His Majesty called for cheers for the Queen. The German fleet at the same time saluted. Pretoria, June 29. The Yolksraad has appointed a Commission of Enquiry into the qualification of members of that Chamber, the object being to oust Mr Loveday, an English member.
