JU BILEE CELEBRATIONS. THE QUEEN'S RETURN TO LONDON. RENEWED DEMONSTRATIONS OF LOYALTY. A PARTY AT THE PALACE. (Per Press Aswinti'-n. —< '<-[>yrt>;/tt. > London, June 29. The Queen returned to London yesterday from Windsor Castle. Kn roi'te she was presented with an address at Kensington Palace. She replied that she was pleased to visit her old home. In the streets immense crowds heartily cheered Her Majesty. Yesterday the Queen gave a garden party at Backingham Palace. Among those present were the Earl and Countess of Glasgow, Chief Justice Way, the colonial Premiers and their wives, the commandants of the colonial forces, and a number of other colonial visitors. At the conclusion of the naval review on Saturday the Prince of Wales signalled he was satisfied with the display, concluding his message: •• I order the main brace to be spliced," meaning that extra grog should be served to the seamen.
