The Illuminations.
THE WATERS SIMPLY ABLAZE. AN ENTHUSIASTIC CROWD. London, June 27. The illuminations of the fleet were most effective. At a given signal every vessel outlined itself in electric lamps, the whole waters of the Solent appearing ablaze. Enormous crowds watched the illuminations from the seashore. The enthusiasm of the spectators is indescribable. Everywhere the Premiers had a splendid reception. The review throughout was a remarkable success, and it was carried out without a single hitch.
