AN ADJOURNMENT GRANTED. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Invercargill, This day. At the Police Court the charge against R. W. Hall aud Caroline Matthews was called, but with the consent of the police the hearing was postponed for eight days. Medical evidence was given that Mrs Matthews is in delicate health and not in a fit state to appear. It is probable that a further adjournment will have to be asked for.
