Hastings S.M. Court.
At the S.M. Court this morning before Mr Turnbull, judgment was given in the following civil cases: — John Hayes v. M. Barry, claim 28s ; costs lis. W. A. Beecroft (Lewis) v. A. Woods, claim £2 9s ; costs 1 'ls. T. Morgan v. W. Home, claim £1 10s 6c!; costs 15s. A. C. Lewis v. Wi Mahika, claim £25 10s; costs-465. Same v. Hone Warimako, claim £4 4s ; costs 12s. Same v. lliti Matua, claim £10; costs 365. Same v. Te Whaka Hiriku, claim £1 10s ; costs 15 s. Brathwaite and Tipping (Lewis) v. Tahaini Renata, claim £4 ; costs 15s Gd. Same (Lewis) v. Wirimu Rurei, claim £6 9s ; costs 265. In a judgment summons, S. Ridgway v. Mild for £6 19s 2d, defendant was ordered to pay the amount claimed forthwith or be imprisoned for seven days, order to be suspended until October 22nd.
