THE QUEEN RECEIVES AN ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION.
LONDON STREETS CROWDED WITH SIGHT-SEERS.

The Qaeen left Windsor Palace today for Buckingham Palace, travelling by* the Great Western Railway to Paddington Station, where she arrived at noon. An immense crowd gathered at the station and greeted Her Majesty, with cheering. An address was presented to Her Majesty by the local residents.
The entire route of to-morrow's procession has been crowded daily, while Fleet street is blocked with sightseers watching the preparations. The grand military tatoo, held at Windsor on Saturday, in spite of drenching rain, was & great scene. At the Stock Exchange to-day the members sang the National Anthem, and telegraphed their congratulations to the Queen.' Vast preparations for the celebrations throughout the provinces include bonfires on commanding heights in all parts of the kingdom, while feeding the poor will be the greatest function in the large citios. Reports from the Cape state that President Ivruger will to-morrow reand Davies, the two members of the Johannesburg Reform Committee remaining in prison m consequence of their refusal to promise to abstain from interference iu politics in the Traj(|p.al.
