MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows : For Napier, daily, at 8, 9.80, 11.3G a.m., 1, 4.00, and 7 p.m. For South, 7.80 and 11 a.m., 8 and 5 p.m. For Wellington, daily, at 11 a.m. For Australian Colonies, United Kingdom, &c., to-morrow, at 1 p.m. Post Office Holidays. Tuesday, 22nd inst., will be observed as a close holiday, and mails which would otherwise close at a later hour will be closed at 8 a.m. For telegraphic purposes only the office will open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday 21st and Wednesday 2:-kd insts. the office will open in all its branches from 8 a.m. to noon, and mails will close as usual up to the latter hour. One complete delivery by letter-carriers will also be made. For telegraphic purposes the office will re-open from 7 to 8 p.m. S. F. Haszard, Postmaster.
