Calcutta, -June 15

The earthquake experienced iu Calcutta also affected Simla, Agra, and Bombay. A terrific shock was felt at Darjeelintn, where many houses were destroyed. At Manipnr large fissures opened in the ground, causing railway bridges to collapse. As a consequence the railway service is stopped. In Bengal a train was overturned.
