The estate of the late Sir William Robinson, ex - Governor of Western Australia, has been sworn at £GG : 000. He leaves bequests of £IOO each to the Perth hospital, Protestant and Catholic orphanages, and the cathedral poor boxes. At the Glasgow rifle meeting Farqhar, of Melbourne, tied with five others in tlio shooting for the Corpo'.ation Vase with a score of 90. According to the rules of the National Rifle Association he was allotted fourth place. June 13. The International Miners' Congress has carried a resolution approving of the nationalisation of mines. The delegates representing the German miners abstained from voting, and the National Union delegates opposed the resolution. Under the will of the late Sir Wm. Robinson the bulk of his property is bequeathed to his wife. Caiko, June 13. The bubonic plague has broken out at Toehi, on the Pied Sea, 60 miles west of Mecca. Athens, June 18. The Porte has notified that it will confiscate the property of Greek fugitives who do not return to Thessaily within a fortnight.
