A BANK CLERK ROBBED OF £SOOO

A TOURIST ARRESTED ON SUSPICION.

London, June 10.

A clerk in the employ of the National Bank of Ireland was robbed of £SOOO at the Limerick railway station.

A tourist has since been arrested at Bailing, in Kildare, on suspicion. When searched he was found to have in his possession a similar amount to that stolen from the clerk.
