MACEDONIANS FLOCKING TO
THESSALY. EMBASSIES PREPARING THE TERMS OF PEACE. (/'er Pr<ss Association. —Copyright.) Athens, June 3. The King and the Duke of Sparta have renounced their part of the civil list. The Macedonian peasants are flocking into the Thessalcniau territory held by the Turks, and 20,000 have already arrived. They have taken possession of the deserted Greek villages, and their numbers are increasing daily. Constantinople, June 3. The foreign Ambassadors and Tewfik Pasha, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will meet to discuss the terms of peace before submitting them to Greece. June 4. In connection with the settlement of the terms of peace between Turkey and Greece, the foreign Embassies have arranged for the separate consideration of the concessions demanded by Turkey. M. Nelidoff, the Russian Ambassador, will draw up a report upon the proposed rectification of the Thessalonian frontier; M. Cambon, the French Ambassador, upon the question of the abolition of the cnpitalations ; and Sir Phillip Currie, English Ambassador, with reference to the amount of the indemnity. A meeting will be held on Saturday, at which the reports will be discussed. London. June 4. In the House of Commons, the Right lion. A. J. Balfour stated that he did not expect order would be restored in Crete until a Governor was appointed and an efficient gendarmie established.
