THE MAHDI'S FOLLOWERS DEFEATED. ( Per Press Association.—Copyright) Brussels, June 8. News received here from the Belgian authorities at Congo state that Captain Moalton in command of the force operating on the Soudan frontier of the Equatorial province defeated two chiefs supporting the Mahdi, and following up the victory the Congo troops have occupied Red Japki.
