AUCKLAND TRAINING NOTES. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This day. A large number of visitors have arrived for the steeplechase meeting. The course proper was thrown open this morning. Prince Charlie and Rliino worked at top for a mile. Ilex put in once round. Retaliation beat Panoply over seven furlongs. Tally-ho compassed a couple of rounds at three-quarter pace. Pansy showed to advantage in a mile gallop with Bonnie Blue. St Simon shaped really well in a gallop with Lady Marion, both having light weights up. Levanter and Kingsvvood did good work over a mile. Miss Nelson, Sam and Dromedary each did good work. Annabelle, the favorite for the National Hurdles, was trained in private at the Lake, and is reported to be well.
