UNDER THE EMPLOYERS LIABILITY ACT. THE CLAIM DISALLOWED. [Bv Telegraph.] Hawera, This day. In the case of Semmens v. Twigg and Co., in which plaintiff claimed damages of £SOO under the Employers Liability Astin consequence of meeting with an injury when working a circular saw in defendants' mill, Judge Kettle found for defendant on the ground that defendant had not shown negligence by failing to warn and instruct plaintiff as to the character of the work.
