THE RECORD REIGN.
(Per Prfss Asii<H-iatit>n. —Co]>>iri>ilit.) London, May 21. The Victorian rifle team has arrived in London, and has proceeded to Bisley, where they will be allowed to practice at the ranges. The officials are procuring Lee-Metford rifles for the seam. The visitors will not accept any hospitalities until the National Association meeting at Bisley is over, although they will probably appear in the Record Reign procession. The officers will certainly be present. Sydney, This day. The Cabinet has adopted the following proposals foi celebrating the Queen's Record Reign -Dinners to the inmates of the asylums and other Government benevolent institutions; an extra supply of clothing, food, and tobacco for aboriginals; the relief of destitute poor outside of Government institutions ; illuminating the city, the foreshores of the harbor, the parks and the squadron; the unveiling of Governor Philips' statue; also a monster demonstration of public school children. June 21st, as well as Tuesday, has been declared a national holiday.
