Leloux, the South African explorer, expresses the opinion that the introduction of settlers into the unoccupied territory south of Zanzibar is the only way of securing British supremacy in South Africa. Madrid, May 17. The Spanish Government is increasthe war budget by 8,000,000 pesotos.
