Court of Appeal.

A MINING CASE. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. In re the Progress Mines of New Zealand, Ltd., the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Commissioner of Stamps that the company was liable to the payment of the annual license fee under the Stamp Act. Costs were allowed the Commissoner on the lcwert scale by agreement.
