Accidents and Fatalities.

(Per Press Association.) Paljiebston, May 14. A young man named William G. S. Woods was discovered lying dead on the road at Fitzherbert this morning. Deceased left town for his home at Fitzherbert last evening. The accident was probably caused through a fall from his horse. A small child was drowned in a tub at Woolston yesterday. Recently a little boy named Gould, seven years of age, the son of an Apiti settler, fell over a toy waggon, and received such severe injuries that he died within a few days. A four-year-old son of Mr S. Fanner, manager of the Waitekauri Extended mine, Ohinemuri, -who was recently severely burned through his clothes catching fire, has died from the effects of the burns.
