The Record Reign Celebrations.

THE QUEEN'S HEALTH. Writing under date March 26th the L( n lon correspondent of the Lyttelton Times states : It is understood that the request of the Australian, Canadian and Cape Agents, that the Royal procession on Jubilee Day might be slightly diverted so as to pass up Victoria street, Westminster, instead of proceeding along Bridge street has been definitely refused. The Pruzce of Wales was from the first very strongly in favor of including this sumptuous thoroughfare, with its thousands of spacious windows in the route, but the Queen didn't like the idea of passing the doors of Westminster Abbey on such an occasion without stopping, and she could not bring herself to face a second service. I may say here, from first hand information, that the extremely optimistic accounts published of her Majesty's health should be received ciun ;iran<> zalix. Physically the Queen is, barring her rheumatism, fairly well, but mentally she begins to betray many symptoms of extreme old age. Her marvellous memory can no longer be trusted with regard to recent events and foces, and ahe constantly drops off into little naps. Also, of course, there is a disconcerting tendency to be fractious about trifles, which obliges the ladies of the Court to walk and talk warily, and in the matter of arranging functions, &c., her Majesty becomes more difficult than ever.
