Bred on first-class lines the daughter of Torpedo should beget good stock. The unregistered racing clubs in Taranaki are proposing to form a central manaeement committee consisting of two delegates from each club, with the object of " promoting fair and honest racing in general," and for the mutual benefit of the clubs.
