H.B. Jockey Club.
At Williams and Kettle's Chambers this afternoon . a committee meeting of the Jockey Club was held. C aptain Eussell occupied the chair. A number of names were ordered to be placed on the unpaid forfeit list. An application was received from A. A. George, secretary of flood sports committee, asking for permission to hold hack races in connection therewith—Granted, on condition that no totslisator be used. "YV. Jones applied for relief from the Disabled Jockeys' Fund.—Deferred for further information. G. Smith applied for removal of his disdualification. —Declined. Several transfers were agreed to. The following applications were 1 eceived for trainers' licenses: — J. Delaney, refused; A. M'Donald, of Mahia, granted. Owners' permits were granted to F. D.'A. C. DeLisle, Dennis Mullins, and H. Lansdown. Gentlemen riders' licenses were granted to H. Lansdown, L. Cottle andF. D'A. C. DeLisle. A sub - committee, consisting of F. Logan, the Hon. J. D. Ormond and Captain Eussell, were appointed to go through the revised rules of racing. This concluded the business.
