SEEKING IN FORMATION. (P„- P/vvs C"j>yri'jht.) Sydney, April 11. The Minister for Lands has received a letter from a resident at Cape Town, which states that owing to drought, rinderpest, native troubles, and other evils, many Englishman who went to South Africa, with small capital and intending to enter farming pursuits, art; afraid to risk tlieir money. He asks for information with regard to settlement in Australia. The Minister is supplying the in-f'-rmaiion. He believes from the tenor of the letter that there is a strong probability nthat may will be induced to come to Australia.
