MAIL NOTICES.

Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows : l'or youth, daily at 11 a.m. For North, via New Plymouth, on Mondays and Thursdays, at 2 p.m. For United Kingdom, &c., via San Francisco, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 14th April. Holidays. Good Friday will be observed as a close holiday by the Postal Branch, and mails which would otherwise close on that day will be closed on Thursday, at 8 p.m. Easter Monday—All Post Offices will open for ordinary business between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., and mails will be despatched as usual up to the hour. For telegraphic purpose/the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on each of the above days. S. F. Haszard, Postmaster.
