Fires at Auckland.
(P('c Press Association.) Auckland, This day. A fire at Kanangahaka destroyed Adams Bros' store and bakery, including £1,500 worth of stock, The origin is a mystery. Hicksou's premises, adjoining, were gutted ; the building is insured for £2OO. Adams' stock is insured in the Phcenix and North German. A lire at Paeroa this morning destroyed shops occupied by Mrs Morton (dressmaker) and Cullen (draper). They were owned by Mr Ellis and were insured for i'loo. Mrs Morton's stock and furniture were insured for JL'2OO. Cullen's stock was saved.
