Wellington-, This dny. * Government have decided to send a military contingent Home, large promises of support from the Opposition side of the House having convinced the Premier that the necessary vote will be assented to. The question will be raised in connection with ths Public Revenues Act Amendment Bill, which will contain a clause providing for .£2500 for a military contingent comprising oO mounted men and 20 Maoris, and £'-300 towards the expenses of the Bisley shooting team. Heads have been counted, and it i» claimed there will be a good majority favorable to this proposal.
