The Italian Government has notified that it will not permit Admiral Canavero, who is in command of the combined fleets engaged in the blockade of Crete, to command the squadron which is to b!oc!:ade Greece. April 7. Great popular excitement continues in the city. The streets are crowded, and the populace are huranguing for war. Aii'airs on the frontier remain quiet. The Turkish troops have not yet made the expected move. Delegates presented to the King of Greece a resolution approving his action.
