A Builders' Dispute.

THE MATTER BEFORE THE CONCILIATION BOABD. (By Telegraph.) (I'l l- I'icsx Association.) Ciiristciiurch, This day. The Conciliation Board met this morning to hear evidence and argument in the matter of the dispute between the Chrisfcehurch Builders Association and the Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and Joiners. The particulars of the dispute were that on the 22nd March, 1897, the Association failed to comply with the requirements of the Unions that wages be advanced from 9s to 10s per day, and that a code of working rules should' be adopted. Evidence is now being taken.
