MRS ENTWISTLE BEFORE THE COURT.

Wellington, This day. Mrs Entwistle, wife of the man now awaiting trial for attempting to shoot her and Mr Morris, has been sentenced to two months imprisonment for receiving stolen goods from six boys, aged 11 to 15.

Two of them have been remanded till Monday. The prisoner admitted the charge.

The children from their own account appear to have been sent to steal things wherever they could. The woman was being supported by the Benevolent Institution.
